"Twenty Five Rows has been an amphora-fermented Chardonnay since 2019. In its second vintage, the 2020 provides a pure fruit expression with excellent texture. In combination with the ripe quince fruit and white flowers, there's a lees-derived pastry-like character; it's reported that amphorae improve the lees contact with the wine, and judging by the plush midpalate texture and a light grainy sensation, it seems to be true. Sassy, fresh and lightly grippy on the finish."
