"The 2020 Scharzhofberger P Riesling GG (the "P" stands for "Pergentsknopp") is deep, refined and fresh on the stony/citric, very mineral and almost ascetic but utterly complex and shining nose. Finely juicy, round and still creamy on the palate, this is a rich but refined and elegant P Riesling with a very long, intense and promising finish. This is not a wine for the next year, but given the intensity, lushness and spectacular length, the 2020 Pergetsknopp will be amazing in 10 years. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August 2021."
